Francine A. Brookins is a graduate of
Georgetown University (B.A. 1993) and The George Washington National Law Center
in the District of Columbia (J.D. 1996). She began her legal training as an
undergraduate while working at the prestigious law firm of Leftwich & Douglas,
L.L.P. in Washington D.C. (1991-1996). She was admitted to the State Bar of
California in 1996. In 2002 she received her Master of Divinity from
Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA and was ordained an Itinerant Elder
in the African Methodist Episcopal Church in 2002.
Francine is an accomplished litigator with 10 years in private practice
as a general civil litigation attorney with an emphasis in family law.
She began her training and
work as a Mediator in 2004 and has spent the last three years mediating
a variety of civil disputes. Her ability to identify client interests, superb
negotiating skills, and informed sense of likely legal outcomes serves
her clients well.
Francine is also the the Pastor of Wright Chapel A.M.E. Church in San
Francisco. She is an effective community leader, a compelling speaker,
and an excellent listener. In her presence, your voice, issues and
